Feeling supported emotionally and physically throughout your pregnancy is vital. During prenatal visits we'll discuss your concerns and address them appropriately, discuss individual nutrition needs, develop a birthing plan and review your birthing rights so that you can advocate for you and your family confidently.
Having a baby should be a positive experience, so my main focus is to support and educate families so they can advocate for themselves and experience the births they deserve. Full labor and birth support as soon as you are ready.
Our job isn’t done once delivery is over. I will stay in close contact with you after your birth to provide assistance and emotional support as you transition into the fourth trimester.
Created in direct response to the many disparities Black families face around the world and especially in the United States, Herban Rose strives to provide holistic care, products, services and education for families before, during and after birth.

The Granny Midwives were well respected Black women from the South who provided care to women before, during and after pregnancy and labor. They were and still are often our family counselors, breastfeeding consultants, postapartum godsends, family nutritionists and big time advocates.
I am a black birth worker raised by those very Grannies we all hold so near and dear. I was blessed with six of them to be exact. I was that kid who stayed up under my grandparents and I am fully aware of how blessed I was to love, experience and learn from all ELEVEN of them. My grandmothers taught me everything they could during our precious time together. With the sweetest intentions I rely on the things they taught me, my own intuition, traditional herbal knowledge, nature and a genuine love of my people to serve families within my community. I’m a kind hearted natural nurturer that enjoys traveling, getting lost in my music or a good book, being out in nature and is always down to find something new to get into. My husband and I met and fell in love 21 years ago. We’ve been happily married for 18 years, all of which we’ve spent traveling the world as a family. We were blessed with three beautiful little human beings and they are literally the dopest people I know. I love my family deeply and learn so much from them every single day. Becoming a mother is such a beautiful journey that often takes us places you could never fully prepare for. The natural ebb and flow of pregnancy, be it preconception, prenatal, birth or postpartum should be met with calm, confidence, love and support. While birthing can be unpredictable it should never be something we fear. I believe everyone should have a calm environment which can appear uniquely different for each person. I believe you should feel confident in yourself and the knowledge you’ve equipped yourself with to always advocate for yourself no matter your birthing preferences. My hope is that you, your baby and family are always surrounded by love as you bring your baby earth side. All of this is reinforced with the proper support both physically and emotionally. I make it my business to make that my top priority for everyone I work with.
